Post Wine Trip
So while everyone else was at hooters this past weekend I was up in norcal. I started out on Tuesday by riding up to a friends house up in LA. The next morning we loaded up the bikes (all 6) in two trucks and a trailer and we headed up the 5. They dropped me off in Gilroy and continued on to Sonoma. I took the bike out for a spin over to Santa Cruz to visit an old friend. Several plates of sushi and too many sake bombs later (she drove) I proceeded up to Alice's the next day to link up with the rest of the group. Needless to say Murphy came along for the ride and I didn't see those guys till late that afternoon at Munroe in the city. On Friday since I felt like arse from the drinking, lack of sleep, and riding I spent the morning at Osmosis just north of Sebastapol. It's in the middle of nowhere (if there is such a thing - all the roads up that way are worth the ride) and if you are ever up there I highly recommend it. Around lunch I met up with the rest of the crew and we headed down to Sears Point (Infineon). Chatted up a few of the umbrella girls, jager girls, met Ben Bostrom, Eraldo Ferracci, etc, etc. That night checked out the Petaluma bike night which btw is NOTHING like the one on Cannery Row for those of you that have been to Laguna Seca. Saturday was spent wine tasting. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it. And Sunday we packed up and headed home. All in all a fantastic trip. Visited with friends and family, did a lot of great riding, good food and wine, and saw a little racing action. Here's a few pics from the trip....
