Post Paly warning for 9/23
One of the local S2000 clubs is going to be there all day with a stop over at Mothers for lunch. Got the word from one of my customers as I was servicing his car. They are expecting quite aq few from what Ive heard.

Just a heads up.

Also there was a fatality up there today (9/17), rider blew a corner and hit another head on. So I would expect the LEO presence to be heavy for awhile.

Just read the North County Times story on line. Not much detail about the crash, but that a woman was the other rider and was life flighted out, Not good. It can happen anywhere, but that is one reason I just stay off the tight side. Glad I picked up a nail in my rear tire yesterday and didn't ride today. I heard the cops were out in force last weekend. I'll bet they're back next week.

I heard that. I am on my way home by noon. As long as there are items of any type moving in the same area, there is some chance of collision. If we stopped riding where ever there was an accident, we wouldn't ride at all. More people are injured or killed between stoplights and on freeways in a week than at Palomar in a year. But that's just one guys opinion.

I'll clarify one thing. I would be a pylon on the tight side and create traffic, so I stay out of the way. I decided 20 years ago to stay off the front.

True, there are accidents just about everywhere....but Paly just seems to have an excess of motorcycle fatalities, wrecks, and testosterone. Maybe its just my perception of that place, but I feel safer riding other roads.

Just my .02
