Post 76 East,Palomar, Mesa Grande, Old Julian, Highland Valley...
Today, Tuesday sept. 12th went for a noon time cruise down roads in title

76 east was okay up until right after Pala Casino, they have repaved it and there is ALOT of gravel and silt still on the road, found myself riding in the cage tracks to avoid the gravel in the middl eof the lane, USE CAUTION

Palomar tight side was fairly clear of anything, I hit it 4 time up and down and didn't have to worry too much about any spots, Fast side was a little gravelly up at the top and it seems like all the cattle crossings and snakes and patches are getting worse, very bumpy, but then again it's always been bumpy on the fast side soo no suprise there

Mesa Grande was pristene, had the most fun there with no worries even on those usually washed out clothes pins, not a lick of anything on that road smooth sailing!!

Old Julian Hiway---AVOID THIS ROAD AT ALL COSTS RIGHT NOW, the first half way all good but someone chopped a tree down and there is literally a pile of twigs and bushes in one of the mid-section corners, you have to first gear it through there, then after the stop sign they are completly tearing up the road steel plates every 5 feet and theres like 20 of 'em, first gear there too. Not a good road to ride right now give it a few weeks i would imagine

Highland Valley road, was fun fairly clear of debris, although through one of the mid section corners after the tight switch backs someone threw avocados and branches in the road coming down in the valley , I actually hit one and my front end slipped out, very scary

All in all the roads were kinda so/so but the ride was great was out there all after noon its 3:30 and I left at 11 am this morning but for the most part great ride

No cow crap, or cows on MG? That's odd. I'm doing HVR, OJH, MG, East Grade tomorrow. I'll let you know if they're any better or worse.

HVR, OJH (except for plates by town), MG (cows on road this AM), East Grade all clean. One spot of gravel on East Grade downward side by landfill. Rip it up!
